Stretches of woods, vineyards, olive-groves, grain, sunflower and poppy fields and clay hills create an array of majestic colours, which reach their greatest beauty at twilight. Owners are delighted to show guests around some of the private areas of the historic building. Of particular interest are the rooms used by the Grand Duke of  Tuscany in the 1700's, the tiny 1800's theatre seating 52 people (one of the smallest active theatres in the world), the ancient cantinas sculpted out of the bedrock, where the wine was made and stored, the courtyards and the gardens. Guided tours to Siena and the beautiful locations of the province (Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Monteoliveto Abbey etc) are available on request.

For hundreds of years we have produced the finest wine & "extra vergine" olive oil using organic methods. This tradition is continued today and it is possible to taste and purchase our organic products (extra-virgin olive oil, wine and vinsanto D.O.C.) directly from us during your stay.
